Helping you find solid ground in life’s hardest moments.

Virtual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, chronic illness, organ donation, transplant experiences, caregiver stress, and major life transitions in Georgia, Vermont, Florida, and South Carolina.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck.

Sometimes life changes suddenly through trauma, illness, grief, or experiences you never expected to face. Other times, the stress builds slowly over months or years until you realize you are no longer feeling like yourself.

Therapy offers a space where you can slow down, process what you’re carrying, and reconnect with yourself without pressure or judgment.

I work with adults navigating:

  • Trauma

  • Anxiety and overwhelm

  • Chronic illness and medical stress

  • Grief and anticipatory grief

  • Organ donation and transplant experiences

  • Relationship strain

  • Major life transitions

  • Caregiver burnout

  • Medical trauma

Hi, I’m Marie.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and therapist who believes counseling should feel human, supportive, and genuine.

Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, laid back, relatable, and direct in a helpful way. Humor is welcome here. I believe meaningful therapy can happen without feeling cold, clinical, or overly formal.

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens and use approaches including ACT, DBT, narrative therapy, and EMDR-informed work.

Outside of therapy, I love hiking, being outdoors, spending time in the mountains, and hanging out with my French bulldog and English bulldog.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated, or disconnected from themselves. My role is not to “fix” you. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, and move toward the person you want to become.

Therapy with me is collaborative, conversational, and supportive.

Clients often appreciate:

  • Specialized support for organ donation, transplant adjustment, and medical trauma.

One of the areas I feel especially passionate about is supporting individuals and families navigating organ donation, transplant experiences, chronic illness, and major medical stress.

This work is personal to me.

I’m a living kidney donor, and my dad was my transplant recipient. Walking through that experience gave me firsthand insight into the emotional side of transplant journeys that people do not always talk about openly.

I understand how complicated these experiences can be emotionally. Relief, fear, grief, anxiety, guilt, uncertainty, identity changes, repeated hospitalizations, caregiver exhaustion, and relationship strain can all become part of the process.

I created this space because I believe people navigating major medical experiences deserve emotional support too.

You do not have to navigate this alone.

You deserve relief from the weight you’ve been carrying. You do not have to stay stuck in survival mode. Healing is possible, and together we can work toward building a life that feels meaningful, not just manageable.
