A warm, supportive space to process life honestly.

Why I became a therapist

I’ve always been drawn to helping people make sense of difficult experiences and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.

I believe therapy works best when people feel safe enough to show up honestly, without pressure to say the “right” thing or have everything figured out.

I provide virtual EMDR therapy to help clients process trauma, anxiety, and painful experiences that may feel emotionally stuck. EMDR can help people respond to life with greater clarity, flexibility, and self-trust while reconnecting with what matters most to them.

I also know personally that healing is not always linear. I’ve been in therapy myself for many years, and I deeply value the experience of having a space to process life openly and honestly.

That perspective shapes how I show up with my own clients today.

My personal connection to chronic illness and transplant mental health:

Part of what led me toward this specialty comes from my own family’s medical journey.

I was a living kidney donor for my dad, who became my transplant recipient. While the transplant itself was life-changing, I also saw firsthand how emotionally difficult the experience could be afterward.

There was hope, relief, fear, uncertainty, repeated hospitalizations, stress, and emotional exhaustion that affected our entire family system.

That experience deepened my passion for supporting people navigating:

  • Trauma

  • Anxiety and overwhelm

  • Chronic illness and medical stress

  • Grief and anticipatory grief

  • Organ donation and transplant experiences

  • Relationship strain

  • Major life transitions

  • Caregiver burnout

  • Medical trauma

I understand this work both professionally and personally, and I know how important it is to have emotional support throughout the process.

My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection.

Approaches I use may include:

I work well with clients who are open to reflection, willing to explore new perspectives, and ready to move toward meaningful change, even if they feel overwhelmed right now.

Bonus points if you can laugh along the way.
